Seattle Gig at Neumo's on December 10th

I remember when I first bought the ticket and it all seemed to me like nothing more than a distant dream. Seven days, dude! Distant dream my ass.

Is it just me, or does anyone else worry that they're going to end up leaving their tickets at home that night?

Haha, I think I worry about that for every gig I go to. But obviously, consequences would be much more dire for a Mew gig. 'Cause it's Mew.

I got my tickets now so I'm excited. Unfortunately I'm going to a funeral in PA days before. Flying there tomorrow and coming back on the 9th, just in time. I think this concert will be a very nice pick me up. I was already excited but now it's like a godsend.

Sorry to hear that I don't know what relationship you had with the person who passed away, but I hope you and the rest of their family and friends are coping ok!

This ruins my life. That means it's on a school day. And I can't go.

I need somewhere to stay, PRONTO...so I can beg my mom to let me go. I don't give a shit about school so long as I get to go. I NEED TO GO. I have good grades and everything...OH NO D: What am I gonna do?? -sob- SOMEONE HALP ME.

Anyone from Whidbey Island going? That's where I live, in Oak Harbor...Or if someone is passing through there and could pick me up? Since it's on a stinky Thursday now, my parents couldn't give me a ride there...and I would need a place to stay...I could help pay for gas and a hotel room, or whatever...and I would have my own ticket. JUST NEED A WAY.

Aww, I'm sorry that your parents can't take you. Unfortunately, I can't say that I know anyone who is passing through Oak Harbor.

How comfortable are you with taking public transportation? There's a bus that will take you from Oak Harbor to Mt. Vernon, and from Mt. Vernon there's a train that will take you directly to Seattle. I would love to offer lodging, but I live with my family and alas, four days before the show is too last minute for them to comply. You could stay at the Green Tortoise Hostel (which is right outside Pike Place Market) for around $30/night... or maybe one of our fellow dudes or dudettes could offer you a place to crash for free?

It is just kind of torture when your heroes are SO close to you, yet SO FAR AWAY! (Lol, what an epic quote.) I mean, considering they are usually all the way in friggin Denmark, and now they are in SEATTLE! So close! If only...

Such an awesome show. Bo saw me filming earlier during the show and during (I think it was) 156, he came and hovered real close over me so I presume I could get good footage. I wasn't filming at that moment though. ARGHH!!!

Unfortunately the sound on my videos turned out shit. The video is OK though.
